General Observations

Just a quick note to record some observations, understandbly probably for my record more than yours! In random order:

-The kids are at a great age to travel. They are so curious about planes and trains...their attention is captivated for many hours. (Not in the van, however.)

-Luka continues to be a "ham" and show off his comedic personality. He seems to love making people laugh. We try to nurture this special gift he has!

-TJ is quickly losing all toddler traits. Carrying on a conversation with him is quite intriguing, and his memory for events is very evident.

-Both kids are consistently beginning to play quite nicely together. This is so reassuring to see...they take turns and share toys and seem to miss each other when separated. TJ has the control, though Luka can more than hold his own physically when sibling rivalry does surface. Admittedly, hair pulling and hitting matches do occur!)

-TJ is growing up. Significantly, he chose NOT to take his beloved NaNa on our two week trip, with whom he has slept since about 6 months of age. Instead, he chose his Shamu. I think I will probably be sleeping with NaNa (to make sure she is safe) sooner than I realize.

-Luka loves to be naked. Period. He tried stripping at Millenium Park, and he tried stripping at the cul-de-sac party Friday night. He precedes his act with "I'm hot!" and then proceeds to take it all off. More often than not, he is naked around the house at any given time.

-TJ is easily entertained. Give him some scotch tape and absolutely any item around the house, and he will come up with some invention, no doubt.

-TJ has blood sugar issues. Two rules for him every morning before he does anything else: #1: Pee. #2: Eat. Here is a picture of one of his famous morning fits before he has had a bite:

-The boys both love their cousin Norah, and she lights up to see them. They love to make her laugh, which doesn't seem to take much for them.

-Luka is in the "why" phase, and now I am getting a taste of my own medicine. In answer to my answer of "because," he responds with "Mommy, because is not a good reason!"
