TJ is 7 1/2 and growing up before our eyes. He hit a milestone today..he lost his first tooth! It was loose several weeks ago, and it really started bothering him yesterday, so he really started working it today, and right before dinner, he pulled it right out! He was so relieved not to anticipate having trouble eating his next meal. He ran up right away to put it under the pillow for the tooth fairy, but soon after decided he wanted to keep it, so he went to retrieve it. It is back under his pillow now, because "you can't really do anything with a tooth, but you can buy stuff with money."
Later, right before bed,we started talking about all the other things that might start happening to his body as he gets older. He mentioned he'd "rather just stay a kid." Me too, buddy. (Kinda.) He asked me to check if he had any other loose teeth. Right away I found that his other bottom middle tooth is indeed loose. His response? "Awww...here we go again. It's so much work."
Anyone know the current going rate for the tooth fairy??
TJ is also really enjoying baseball as one of his activities this year. Gone are the days of T-ball. This is coach pitch, and he certainly does know how to hit the ball.
