Grandma and Grandpa Come to Town

Grandpa and Grandma Schmucker were able to visit us for almost a week! The kids just had a ball...we all did! In fact, we were having so much fun, we forgot to take any picture of Grandma and Grandpa with the kids. So, instead, we'll show you a bunch of the activities that we enjoyed together, thanks to Grandpa Walter's photography.

(On a side note, Vera and I spent an evening picking out quilt fabric for Baby Scolisa. While we had a frustrating start, the final choices are so exciting! And yes, pink is one of the main colors!)

Face painting took up one afternoon.

We watched Scott run the 10 for Texas Race, right down Lake Woodlands.

We headed for T-ball, where Luka seemingly had more fun tipping over in his chair.

TJ and Grandpa spent quite a bit of time perfecting their airplane throws.

TJ thought he was dreaming when he was allowed the opportunity to ride a mini 4-wheeler on a visit to Logan Histand's new house.

Last but not least, the kids were thrilled when Grandpa handed over the camera and they were allowed to take as many pictures as they liked!

They're not half bad, actually!
