Mikayla is seems to be very opinionated and vocal. She knows what she wants, and she is not afraid to ask for it. She often says "Dah! Dah! Dah!" repeatedly and loudly when there is something that she wants. Unfortunately for us, we are used to having many words to label specific things, and because Mikayla has only one word, it becomes a bit of a guessing game. It is also not uncommon to have Mikayla screaming the entire car ride, there and back. And, true to her nature, she still wakes up several times a night screaming, and then goes right back to sleep.
Rest assured, one way to always appease her is to put her in or around water. She is entertained for great lengths of time, and it is one sure-fire way to enjoy a happy baby in this household.
We have a variety of methods: sprinkler, pool, bathtub (outside), bowls of water, and yes, even in a recycling bin.
