So, nothing was planned for today at all, except for a visit around 1:00 from an old friend.
Here is how the day panned out, and it turned out so great!
-6:15: Started playing with kids in Luka's room
-Made peach/strawberry pie (my first pie ever, actually!)
-Baked butternut squash casserole
-Kids entertained themselves for over 30 minutes kicking beach balls all over the house
-Skype with Mimi and Papa
-Cleaned out and reorganized laundry room
-While Scott took kids on run, Tae Bo with Billy Blanks
-Quick shower and run to grocery store before friends arrived
-Scott headed off to work
-Took kids shopping for 2 hours, and they actually did great!
-Pizza parlor for dinner
-Played Hot Wheels
-Bath/Bed by 8:15
-Me time!! (It's now 10:00 and I need to head.)
By the way - who was the old friend?
