Luka, you are 6 years old! What a little sentimental jokester you are. You are cuddly an sensitive, bright and inquisitive. You tell us everything that goes on each day in kindergarten, which you love. You have maintained your pattern of being super well behaved in school, and a bit of a disaster at home. (You started this at 6 months old, always content at school, but fussy at home.) When under the watch of your parents, you seem to constantly fall and trip or somehow manage to hurt yourself, and this causes the loudest outbursts ever. Your one volume is loud, and your voice is high pitched; between the two, we always know where you are in the house. You get picked on by your brother, and this brings on megaphone like sounds as well. You still do not play much by yourself, though for your birthday you received several lego sets and have spent some time in your room by yourself (finally) enjoying your legos. On the flip side, your favorite birthday gift was the first grade activity book that we got you that you are already halfway through.
For your birthday this year, you wanted it to be a knight party. I'm wasn't exactly sure how to throw a knight party, so we got a dragon cake and ordered blow up swords for party favors. I for some reason just couldn't get excited/creative much more than that. Somehow, we ended up with about 25 kids on a gorgeous day at the park. Wow! What a lot of kids. (This will be your last big birthday party, because at our house, once you turn 7, you get to invite a few close friends for your party.) With so many kids, the pictures really suffered, but we got a few for the memories and we'll take what we can get!
