A Phase.

Not, "a phase?"  I write it with a period, because I have all the optimistic confidence that this is a phase. This is a TJ update.  And I feel somewhat obligated to write it, considering the rosy pictures the last couple entries have been painting.  Truth be told, TJ is giving us a run for our money right now, and testing every boundary that exists.  In a nutshell, we're somewhat walking on eggshells, not knowing when his little temper might flare up.  (I'm sure Brooke and Kumar can provide any details you might secretly be curious about, based on what they witnessed yesterday morning.

Now, the whole story is that he's been fighting a bacterial infection since January.  When we took him in in January, the Doc didn't recommend doing anything about it, and since then he's had good days and bad days, but in the end, his runny nose and eye gunk was never fully clearing up.  So, we're really hoping that this stuff his little body has been trying to fight for two months is partially to blame for his attitude flare-ups, and that the anti-biotics will be a miracle drug that will solve all of his behavior problems overnight.

Ok, well, perhaps that is a bit too optimistic.  But, regardless, we're working hard with him to find other ways to release his frustrations, and in the mean-time we're hopeful that our sweet little boy will come back to visit us and stay for while sometime in the very near future.
