We Are So Thankful For our Friends

This past Thanksgiving week, we also had the privilege of hosting friends who were in from out of town and visiting their own families for the American holiday tradition.

On Tuesday, Mark, Tamara, Miko, and Ian Rutledge came in for 24 hours of fun, and fun we did have! Our mutual friends, Jolyn, Jeff, "Big" TJ, and Cecily Murrin came over as well. We managed to stay up until 1:00 a.m., which I haven't done in I don't know how long, and the kids were up just having a ball together until 12:30 a.m.! The weather was a balmy 75ish degrees, so we were inside and outside and upstairs and downstairs and just couldn't seem to have enough good conversation. Tamara is one week behind me with a third as well, so we had fun swapping birthing and baby plans.

While we were having too much fun to take pictures that night, we did manage some excellent shots the next day at the house and Market Street:













Then, on Saturday, the Kandel Cisco Clan ventured in from Clear Lake (originally from Indianapolis) and we lived up old memories and created some new ones. The kids love nothing more than a good 'ole slumber party!



We set-up the kids to watch Scooby Doo in the bedroom and we managed to have a good 45 minutes of uninterrupted dinner.
