Kinder Graduation

We had the pleasure today of witnessing our oldest son graduate from kindergarten from the Spanish Schoolhouse. Georgina, the owner, did it up, of course, as you can see from the stage in the picture. This is the first graduating class that the school has had.


They had each child enter and walk across the stage. Georgina read an exerpt from Dr. Seuss Oh the Places You Will Go. Each child received a little medallion, a 2011 picture frame with a picture of TJ in his SS T-shirt and graduation cap, a graduation cap cookie, and a diploma.




The teachers also gave out a special award to each child, like: Math Wizard, Science Wizard, Bookworm, etc. The one that TJ received was "Hard Worker" for his meticulous attention to detail and the time he spends perfecting each of his assignments. Hmmm...wonder who he got those traits from?

We were so fortunate to have such wonderful teachers this year, Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Mayra.
