They boys were so excited to have their aunt Stacy come for the weekend! It was the first chance for Stacy to meet Mikayla, and we just had a great time hogging Aunt Stacy all to ourselves for 3 whole days.
Stacy hadn't even been here 30 minutes, and the kids already had her painting their faces.
TJ was very excited to have Aunt Stacy make her special baked oatmeal. He had never forgotten about it since his visit to Pennsylvania last fall. Since she made it, he has eaten it every morning, and asked me 3 times if I'm sure I have the recipe.
Luka had some special Aunt Stacy time one afternoon and managed to play several games with her while I ran errands and TJ took a nap.
Sunday, we headed to the lake. Hopefully Aunt Stacy felt like she got a little bit of a true vacation for a few hours at least! After the lake, we headed to Ashley and Erin's for a home cooked meal.
We also managed to get to the Arts in the Park festival at Creekside Park to hear some live music and let the kids play. In between all the entertainment, Stacy also managed to find time to make us some cilantro dip AND rhubarb crunch! (Stacy brought the rhubarb from PA!)
